Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Innovative Signs, Inc. (“Innovative Signs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit or interact with innovativesigns.com (the “Site”), or otherwise do business with us by phone, email, or mail. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. When you contact us, request a quote, submit artwork, or download a resource such as our Plaque Buying Guide, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and any project details, files, or images you choose to share with us.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours automatically logs certain technical information when you visit — including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. This information does not, by itself, identify you personally, and is used for site security, performance, and understanding how visitors use the Site.
Order and payment information. If you place an order, we collect the billing and shipping details necessary to produce and deliver your plaque. Payment card information is processed through the payment methods we accept at the time of order and is not stored on our servers in full.
2. Cookies and Similar Technologies
This Site may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as pixels or local storage) to operate correctly, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the Site. This includes:
- Essential cookies required for basic Site functionality, such as loading pages correctly and remembering form entries during a session.
- Analytics cookies, which may include tools such as Google Analytics, used to understand aggregate visitor behavior (which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and general geographic region). This data is used in de-identified or aggregate form and is not used to personally identify you.
- Hosting and content-delivery cookies from our web host and content delivery network (currently WordPress.com and its associated Jetpack service), used to serve the Site and its images efficiently.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how some parts of the Site function. Where legally required, we will provide a cookie consent mechanism appropriate to your location.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, and produce design proofs
- Process, manufacture, and ship orders, and provide order-related customer service
- Send documents you specifically request, such as a design proof, invoice, or downloadable guide
- Maintain records of past orders so we can accurately reproduce or reorder a design for a returning customer
- Improve the Site, our products, and our customer experience
- Comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not send marketing communications unless you have affirmatively opted in, and any such communication will include a clear way to unsubscribe.
4. How We Share Information
We may share information with:
- Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as web hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and shipping carriers — solely to the extent needed to perform those functions.
- Legal and safety purposes, where disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business transfers, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same or comparable privacy protections.
5. Your Privacy Rights
California residents. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your information, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA.
All visitors. Regardless of location, you may contact us at any time to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, using the contact information in Section 9 below. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time.
International visitors. This Site is operated from the United States and intended primarily for visitors located in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your country.
6. Children’s Privacy
This Site is intended for a general business audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
7. Data Retention and Security
We retain order and correspondence records for as long as reasonably necessary to serve you as a returning customer, comply with legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes — consistent with our practice of keeping past design files on hand so a returning customer’s plaque can be reordered or matched accurately.
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Links to Other Websites
The Site may contain links to third-party websites not operated or controlled by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
