Questions We Hear Every Day
What types of plaques do educational institutions typically order?
Schools and universities most commonly order donor recognition walls, building and room dedication plaques, alumni memorial plaques, faculty tributes, and award recognition plaques. We serve K-12 districts, community colleges, and major research universities across all 50 states.
Can Innovative Signs satisfy educational institution procurement requirements?
Yes. As an SDVOSB registered in SAM.gov, we satisfy procurement preferences for veteran-owned suppliers at public universities and school districts. We are experienced with purchase orders and institutional procurement processes.
How do donor recognition walls work?
Donor walls typically feature modular name plates that can be added over time as new donors contribute. Your designer will advise on a format that looks complete at launch and grows gracefully. We can match or complement existing campus signage.
How long do bronze plaques last on a school building?
Cast bronze plaques are built to last for many decades. We have clients with plaques installed more than 15 years ago that still look excellent. Limiting exposure to pressure washing and roof drainage extends the finish life further.
In Their Own Words
The Belleair Community Foundation has used Innovative Signs for years. We have probably purchased over 100 different signage pieces. We have signs in our parks that are 15 years old and they look great. Their design team worked with us at the highest professional level.
The plaque is incredible. It is always hard ordering something like this across the country with such a strict time limit, but it came Thursday night and it is perfect. Much better than we had even dared to hope.
We all appreciate your work on the dedication plaque. It turned out so nice and we will proudly display it in front of the library. It was a pleasure doing business with you.
