The Moment You Worked For
Deserves to Be Permanent
You spent years planning, funding, building, and launching. The ribbon cutting happens. The speeches are made. The photographs are taken. And then, if you planned well, something remains that tells everyone who walks by exactly what this place is and why it was built.
A bronze dedication plaque is how a milestone becomes permanent. We have made them for building openings, named rooms and wings, park dedications, sports facility launches, library openings, and community milestones of every kind since 1984.
No obligation. A real designer answers every call.
Celebrate What You Built.
Make It Last.
Dedication plaques are the joyful side of this work. They mark beginnings, achievements, and community pride. They are the kind of thing that makes people slow down, read, and feel something good about where they are.
The Panama Canal Authority asked us to make the official plaque for the inauguration of their $5.25 billion expansion. A 53 by 36 inch bronze plaque representing 12 trades and professions. We also make elegant desk-sized dedication plaques for small ceremonies that mean just as much to the people in the room.
Start early, plan carefully around ceremony dates, and tell your designer about your event at the very first call. More options are available at the beginning of the process than at the end.
What You Need to Get Started
- What is being dedicated. Building, room, park, facility. The name and any associated honorees or donors.
- Your ceremony date. Share this at first contact. We will build a production plan around it.
- Where it will be installed. Wall surface, exterior or interior, any architectural constraints.

Dedication plaques are almost always tied to a ceremony date that you do not want to miss. We strongly recommend not setting that date until your plaque has arrived. If your date is already fixed, call us immediately so we can assess what is possible.
More options are available at the beginning of the process than at the end. Share your date immediately so we can build a production plan around it.
Even if production stays on schedule, buffer time protects you against shipping delays. The wider your margin, the better.

What is the difference between a dedication plaque and a memorial plaque?
A dedication plaque marks a milestone, achievement, or named space at a ceremony celebrating a new beginning. A memorial plaque honors someone who has passed. Both are custom bronze plaques but serve different emotional purposes and are often designed differently. We make both.
How far in advance should I order a dedication plaque?
We recommend ordering as early as possible and not setting your ceremony date until your plaque has arrived. Standard production is 3 to 4 weeks. If you have a fixed ceremony date, tell your designer at the first call so we can advise on rush options if needed.
Can you make a plaque for a named room or building wing?
Yes. Named rooms, building wings, and donor-recognized spaces are among our most common dedication projects. We match the scale and finish to your architectural setting and provide mounting hardware appropriate for your wall surface.
What information goes on a dedication plaque?
Typically the name of the building, room, or space; a dedication statement; the date; and the names of key individuals being honored or recognized. Your designer will help you find the right balance of information for the size of plaque you choose.
In Their Own Words
We all appreciate your work on the dedication plaque. It turned out so nice and we will proudly display it in front of the library. It was a pleasure doing business with you.
I just wanted you to know how much my family liked the plaque for the 200th anniversary of our family farm. It will be installed on the farm house built prior to the Civil War. It was a special day made even more special by the quality of our plaque.
I just received my plaque, and it is absolutely beautiful. We are extremely pleased with it and will be ordering another one within the next month.
