Bronze That Connects
to the World
Without Losing Its Soul
A bronze plaque has always been a bridge between a physical place and a human story. A QR code embedded in that bronze extends that bridge into the digital world. Scan it and discover the full story: the video, the photographs, the recordings, the history that could never fit on the face of a plaque.
We offer two approaches to digital bronze signage. The first embeds a QR code directly into traditional cast bronze, linking the plaque to unlimited online content. The second — newer and still developing — surrounds an actual screen in a bronze frame, combining dynamic digital display with the permanence and authority of traditional bronze.
No obligation. A real designer answers every call.
The Same Bronze You Know.
Connected to Everything New.
The QR code plaque starts with everything a traditional bronze plaque offers: the weight, the craftsmanship, the permanence. The QR code is machined directly into the surface, no different from any other engraving. When scanned, it takes the visitor wherever you choose — a memorial website, a building’s digital history, a restaurant’s story, a venue’s event page.
The bronze-framed digital display is a different proposition entirely. It looks like a traditional plaque installation but contains a screen capable of displaying video, rotating photographs, scrolling text, or real-time information. The bronze surround provides the architectural presence. The screen provides the flexibility. Together they create something that has never existed before in commercial signage.
Both products are available now. The digital display format is in active development and we are working with early clients to refine the offering. If you are interested in being among the first to install one, call us.
What You Need to Get Started
- What you want to link to. A URL, a memorial page, a video, a menu, a building history. The destination determines the design of the QR element.
- The plaque content. Text, name, dates, inscription. The bronze face carries what it always has. The QR extends it.
- The installation setting. Indoor or outdoor, wall or post. QR codes need to be scannable from a comfortable distance. We design with that in mind.

Concept Renders
Across Five Applications
Digital bronze is a new product category. The examples below are design concepts showing what these plaques could look like across five different applications. We are actively working with early clients to bring these to life. If one of these resonates with your project, call us.
QR Memorial Plaque
A traditional cast bronze memorial plaque with a QR code machined directly into the surface. Visitors scan it with a smartphone and are taken to a full digital tribute: photographs from across a lifetime, video recordings of the person speaking, audio of their favorite music, family history that could never fit on a plaque face. The bronze carries the permanent physical presence. The QR code carries everything else.
What the QR code can link to: A personal memorial website, a video tribute, a family history archive, a photo gallery, audio recordings, or any URL you choose. You control the destination and can update it anytime without changing the plaque.
Bronze-Framed Digital Display
A bronze frame with the same weight and craftsmanship as a traditional cast bronze plaque, surrounding a high-resolution display screen. The screen can show video tributes, rotating photographs, scrolling donor names, real-time event information, or any dynamic content. The bronze provides the permanence and architectural presence. The screen provides unlimited flexibility. Together they create a category of signage that has not existed before.
Ideal for: University donor walls where new names need to be added without replacing physical plaques. Museum and cultural institution features. Hospital and healthcare lobbies. Public memorials where dynamic content matters. Corporate lobbies with rotating recognition content.
QR Historical Marker
A bronze historical marker in the traditional format, with a QR code that opens a full digital archive. Visitors standing at the site can access archival photographs from the period, scanned historical documents, oral history recordings, and contextual information that transforms a brief roadside marker into a full historical experience. The physical plaque carries the essential facts. The digital layer carries the depth.
Best suited for: Historic sites, walking tours, battlefield markers, architectural landmarks, and any location where the story is richer than a traditional marker can hold.

Questions We Hear Every Day
What is a QR code bronze plaque?
A QR code bronze plaque combines a traditional cast bronze plaque with a permanently embedded QR code. When a visitor scans the code with a smartphone, they are taken to a webpage, video, audio recording, digital memorial, or any other online content you choose. The bronze provides the permanent physical presence; the QR code connects it to limitless digital content.
What is a digital display bronze plaque?
A digital display bronze plaque combines a traditional bronze frame and surround with a screen embedded in the center. The screen can display dynamic content — video, scrolling text, rotating photographs, real-time information — while the bronze frame gives the installation the permanence and gravitas of traditional signage. This is a new format we are developing, and we welcome early conversations with interested clients.
What can the QR code link to?
The QR code can link to anything accessible via URL: a personal memorial website, a video tribute, a family history, a building’s architectural history, audio recordings, a digital donor wall, a venue’s event calendar, or a restaurant’s menu. You control the destination and can update it anytime without changing the plaque.
Is the QR code permanent on the plaque?
Yes. The QR code is machined directly into the bronze surface using the same CNC process as our standard engravings. It does not fade, peel, or degrade. As long as the URL it links to remains active, the code will function indefinitely.
